5 things you can do to stop negative self-talk

Have you ever been stuck in a negative self-talk loop? From experience, it's not a fun place to be, and sometimes it's really hard to get out of. Below are some negative self-talk loops that I have been stuck in, and the tools I use to help break the habit.

You feel like your best still isn't good enough. Negative thought- "I can never do anything right." "I always f#$k everything up."

You constantly overcommit yourself and you constantly let people down. Negative thought-  "I'm an idiot." "I'm unreliable."  

You can't seem to find your mojo and your stuck in a funk. Negative thought- "I feel like shit and want to stay in bed all day."

You judge yourself and feel inadequate. Negative thought- "I'm not good enough." 

5 THINGS YOU CAN DO TO STOP NEGATIVE SELF-TALK!

  1. Physical movement- This will help you get out of your head, and get those good endorphins happening.
  2. Use affirmations- Example: "I am enough." "I am doing the best I can." "I am safe, I am loved, and I am protected."
  3. Listen to your favourite song LOUD- This ALWAYS works, TRY IT!
  4. Use essential oils- These help relax and calm the mind and body, which helps release stress and worry.
  5. Get outside- Nature brings you back into balance, it heals your energy. 

Practice some, or all of these things daily. Maybe come up with a few of your own things that help you stop negative self-talk.
