Phoenix Rising
Jun 27, 2025
It's been 12 months since my last IVF cycle. My body is slowly feeling somewhat normal again, and my mental health is feeling lighter and brighter thanks to my amazing therapist Sara and my beautiful friends and family.
Navigating early pregnancy loss, five failed IVF cycles and losing my precious Nan has been mammoth! All whilst being a working Mum. Some days I've been deep in the trenches, other days have felt like a glimmer of hope, but everyday, I wake up thanking God for the beautiful little family I DO have.
It's hard when you desire something so much and it doesn't work out the way you had planned. Do you stay on course and keep chasing that dream, or do you let it go? Either way, we have to trust in the Great Spirit's plan for us right? What is meant for us is ours right?
Maybe it's a matter of letting go of the struggle, the pain, stress and worry. Maybe it's about remembering to live life while you're chasing your dreams and stop waiting, wishing and wanting. I've spent two whole years being sad. Time is passing by and I am not going to miss out on life's beauty. It's time to realign with my true nature and release sadness, grief and pain back to Mother Earth for healing.
We've just had a New Moon, and I love deep diving into astrology and how we can use nature's cycles to help us heal and find balance. Here's what I found....
The energetic message of this month’s New Moon in Cancer, centres around emotional renewal, inner security, and sacred nurturing. Cancer is the zodiac’s caretaker, ruled by the Moon itself, so this lunation is especially potent for emotional and spiritual reset.
🌑 New Moon in Cancer – Energetic Message:
"Come home to yourself. What you nurture now becomes the emotional foundation for your future."
Key Themes:
-
Emotional Healing: This is a time to reflect on past emotional wounds and choose healing over suppression. You're invited to sit with your feelings rather than bypass them.
-
Redefining Safety: Cancer speaks to home, roots, family, and emotional safety. This New Moon asks: Where do I feel most safe? Who or what makes me feel seen and held?
-
Sacred Boundaries: It’s okay to protect your energy. Cancer teaches that saying "no" can be a form of self-love, not rejection.
-
Self-Nurturing: There’s a deep call to slow down and tend to yourself like you would a beloved child or garden. Rest, nourish, and be gentle.
-
New Emotional Cycles: Plant seeds around emotional growth, more authentic relationships, and a more intuitive connection to your inner world.
It's ok to feel sad, and it's ok to feel deeply. What's not ok is if you let your grief and sadness keep you from experiencing life's beauty and magic. Don't stay down, get back up. Rise like the Phoenix and burn brighter than you ever have before.
"From the ashes of what was, you rise—stronger, wiser, and unshakeably yourself."
