THE GATHERING

Like sitting around a fire. Not another feed to keep up with.

The Gathering is the community inside Tathra. Twice a month we meet live, by the moon, at 7pm. In between, there's a quiet circle where you can say how it actually is.

WHY WE GATHER

Healing happens in relationship.

With your body. With the land under you. And with other people who aren't asking you to be fine.

A lot of us have learnt to do everything alone. To cope quietly and keep going. The Gathering is a soft place to put that down. Nobody is performing wellness here. You can arrive tired, camera off, in your trackies, and still be met.

It's also a rhythm. The moon keeps its own time, whatever the calendar says. Meeting at the new moon and the full moon gives the month a shape: a moment to go inward, and a moment to let go. That's a very old way of living. It still works.

TWICE A MONTH, LIVE AT 7PM

The New Moon and the Full Moon.

Each gathering runs around an hour and may include meditation, breathwork, gentle movement, journalling, reflection and deep rest. No previous experience is required. You can't get it wrong.

NEW MOON

Turning inward

The dark of the moon is for going quiet. We slow the breath, sit with what's true right now, and set a gentle intention for the weeks ahead. Nothing to perform. Just listening.

FULL MOON

Letting go

The full moon is for release. Breath, gentle movement and stillness to put down what you've been carrying, and make a little space for what's next.

What to bring

A floor, something to lie on, a pen and paper. A cup of tea is encouraged.

Camera on or off

Your call, every time. Some women love seeing the circle. Some need the dark. Both are welcome.

If you can't make it live

Every gathering is recorded and added to the library within a day. The moon doesn't mind when you show up.

In between the moons, a quiet circle.

The Gathering also lives online, inside your Tathra account. It's not a social platform. There are no streaks, no algorithm, and nobody counting how often you post. It's a place to share what's real after a practice, ask a question, or read what another woman wrote at midnight and feel less alone.

Charlie is in there too. Not every hour, but often. It's a room, not a broadcast.

  • Reflection prompts after each moon gathering
  • A place to ask about a practice, or share how one landed
  • Seasonal notes from Charlie, and what's coming in the library
  • Kind, plain community guidelines. What's shared in the circle stays in the circle
